Mildenhall is a wonderfully attractive medieval market town located in the Forest Heath District of West Suffolk. Mildenhall’s retail area is centred around the market square with its hexagonal market cross and delightful market square. The local Friday market retains its traditional charm as befits its fifteenth Century origins.
The town contains a good mix of retail outlets catering for everyday needs including a selection of national chains including the Co-op and Sainsburys. St. Marys Church is one of Suffolks finest Churches and the Mildenhall Museum houses a copy of the famous Mildenhall treasure, a collection of 4th Century Roman Silver Hoard.
In addition, the town benefits from many varied facilities, including Police Station, Library, Sports Centre and many attractive walks along the River Lark and in the surrounding forests.
