Stephen Mullender - Senior Partner
Steve first started work an Estate Agent trainee in Cambridge in 1975 and steadily climbed the career ladder with posts of negotiator, branch manager, area manager and area sales director before starting his own firm namely Balmforth in 1989, which has now become the longest established estate agency in Haverhill. A Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, Steve is able to draw upon over 30 years experience as an estate agent.
Mo Sullivan - Lettings Manager
Mo started working as an estate agent in Haverhill over twenty years ago and went on to specialize in the residential lettings field, initiating the Balmforth rental department in 1993 which she has expanded to having probably the largest portfolio in Haverhill. As well as her wealth of experience Mo also holds a degree in housing.
John Wheeler - Valuations Manager
Aged 31, John has worked as an estate agent in Cambridge but predominantly Haverhill for 14 years and remains as enthusiastic as ever. Having been with this firm for 2 years he has proved an extremely popular acquisition with both clients and staff. There are few Estate Agents who would know the Haverhill area any better.
Debbie Pollecutt - Senior Negotiator
Debbie has held this position with Balmforth for over eight years as office frontline sales person as well as dealing with sale progressing and has become well known for her friendly and bubbly personality.
Joanne Mizon - Senior Office Administrator
Jo has been with Balmforth for some three years now and as well as being involved with front line sales, is in charge of key aspects of the office administration.
Robert Lewis - Managing Partner
Robert opened the Mildenhall office in 2001 and in a short space of time has turned Balmforth from the smallest agent in the town to the largest agent occupying a prime town centre location. As a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and also a chartered engineer, Robert combines academic and professional qualifications with a wealth of experience.
Linda Keogh - Sales Progressor and PA to Partner
Linda handles all sales progressing with solicitors. In addition Linda assists with the running of the larger sites while also acting as PA to the Managing Partner, Robert Lewis.
Chris Bedwell - Sales Valuer & Negotiator
Chris has worked in Estate Agency since 2001 for a variety of National and Local agents and brings a wealth of experience to the Balmforth team. As a locally based member of staff Chris is able to offer an extensive range of local knowledge which has continued to bring a steady stream of both buyers and sellers to Balmforth.
Lynn Morley - Senior Office Administrator
Lynn has worked for Balmforth for over six years and now manages the listings of sales properties and co-ordinates key office administration. Her depth of local knowledge and approachable manner make her popular with both staff and clients.
Viv Williams - Sales Negotiator
Over many years Viv has developed a wealth of experience with both National House builders and Agents. Viv’s personable approach has endeared purchasers to both her and Balmforth over the years and she continues to achieve success with both sales and rentals.
Chris Mullender - Senior Rental Administrator
As our longest serving member of staff, Chris has extensive experience in all aspects of our rental business. Chris now oversees both our rental management software, together with the vital function of securing tenants
Sara Nixon - Senior Rental Administrator
Having started as a rental administrator Sara has recently taken on overall responsibility for the internal office administration for the rental department. This includes property check-outs and tenancy periodic checks as well as the ongoing issues on a rapidly expanding portfolio of managed properties.
Christine Bedwell - Rental Valuer
With an extensive experience in the local lettings market enhanced with a working background in the construction industry, Christine takes sole responsibility for all rental repairs, refurbishments and now in addition to this carries out all rental evaluations and take-ons.
Natalie Brown - Rental Administrator
Having worked for another local agent Natalie joined Balmforth in the summer of 2008. Natalie handles all aspects of our tenant processing to ensure a smooth process from initial application to commencement of tenancy.
Rebecca Smith - Rental Administrator
Rebecca, having recently graduated from the University of Lincoln with a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Public Relations, is one of the newest members of the expanding Balmforth team. Her role involves the listing of rental properties, along with many other associated administrative tasks.
Rachel Petersen - Rental Negotiator
Rachel, the newest addition to our team, arrived here the beginning of June '09 from the United States; she is accompanied by her husband who is stationed at RAF Lakenheath. With previous real estate experience in the US she brings her Military market knowledge to our team.
Carole Mullender - Accounts Administrator
As well as carrying out the book keeping duties for the business, Carole oversees invoicing and payments to landlords.
